EZ Paint sets the standard for low impact marking.

It is the first eco-friendly, biodegradable marking paint that lasts for approximately 30-90 days, then fades away to nothing - or washes away with soap and warm water. No harmful solvents. No chemical washes. No sandblasting. No extra removal costs. EZ Paint.

In EZ Paint’s inventor’s home state of Florida, Sunshine State One Call held a symposium in 2008 to explore options for low impact marking.

Although their focus was on marking paint durability - and ways to reduce it! - EZ Paint believes that low impact marking should solve the problem of long-term “industrial graffiti” AND reduce the impact of the marking paints on the environment and the health of the people using them.

We are proud to be the first company to accomplish both.

  • EZ Paint is a revolutionary approach to aerosol paints. It is water-based paint that keeps its bright fluorescent hue for at least the life of a One Call marking ticket, then bio-degrades, disappearing within a few months*
  • EZ Paint does NOT contain Toluene, Xylene or Acetone. Our paints set a new standard in marking paints for their eco-friendly and health conscious formula.

History

For twenty years, Arthur Coello was an award-winning production custom home builder and developer in his home state of Florida. Over the years, he received an ever-growing number of requests to return to job-sites after project completion to remove underground utility markings left on the property. In 2000, when those jobsite visits became too costly, Arthur starting looking for alternatives to the marking paint his company used. To his surprise, there were no temporary marking paints available – and all the available paints contained harmful solvents and high levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

He set out on a mission: to develop a truly temporary marking paint that is safe for users and the environment.

At first, he was told by the paint industry and chemical engineers it was impossible. But he persisted – and after seven years of Research and Development, he defied the skeptics, patenting EZ Paint. The 2010 introduction of EZ Paint’s revolution product makes a dream a reality for Arthur and his wife/business partner, Lilia M. Coello.

Also a partner in EZ Paint: Richard J. Valentine, a Massachusetts-based entrepreneur who has been building businesses for 40 years. RJ and his team have founded and built market leaders in diverse industries. His aerosol company, Delaware-based Advanced Aerosol Acquisition, is manufacturing EZ Paint – and his financial and marketing experts are contributing their expertise to the company.
