Low-Impact Marking

This is one of the rare cases where extended durability is a problem. Virtually all traditional inverted aerosol marking paints are intended to last - much longer than required. Locating marks made by traditional paints stay where sprayed from 6 months to 3+ years - leaving an ever expanding gallery of “industrial graffiti” across our streets, sidewalks, driveways and patios. Additionally, it costs three times (3x) as much to remove the markings as it does to apply them.

EZ Paint holds up to the elements for a months. Then, its water base evaporates, other ingredients bio-degrade - and EZ Paint markings disappear.

Many traditional marking paints contain Toluene, Xylene, Acetone and other chemicals that can affect the environment. Additionally, research shows that long-term exposure to these chemicals can create significant and costly health risks. Picture a locating employee exposed virtually every working day in his truck and on the job for 15 years. This is public knowledge, with contents and warnings required on every label. Until now, there has not been a better alternative.

Now there’s EZ Paint - and, as you’ll see on our label, water is our main ingredient - and Toluene, Xyle and Acetone are NOT in our products.

811 Compliant

Withstands the elements for a few months - not years.

The fluorescent dyes stay bright, usually for the life of an “811 Call Before You Dig” ticket, then - as the water base evaporates, the markings disappear. EZ Paint washes off with soap and warm water or a pressure washer - without the use of sandblasting machines or harmful solvents, making it safer for workers as well as the environment.
